Wait.  Don’t wait.  Act.  Don’t act.  So how do you know when it’s time to make a move?  I guess that’s something each of us must decide for ourselves.  For instance, when it comes to my writing, there’s always something I tweak during edits.  I may look at a blog a dozen times before posting, but I still end up phrasing a sentence differently, or omitting a couple of words.  I asked one of my ASU professors about that: how do you know when a piece of work is ready?  Her answer was pretty much the same as Hill’s.  I eventually get to a point where it’s “now or never.”  A gut feeling.  Inevitably, my work is still revised behind the scenes by my Big Sister or an editor.  But with many things in life, we simply shouldn’t wait because the time will never be “just right.”
