Unfortunately, I didn’t feel well enough to work out on Saturday, but I still had a list as long as my forearm of all the tasks left undone during the week. Clean up cat vomit. Dust three rooms. Dust vacuum tiles. Laundry. Clean master bathroom. And those were just for starters. Hard to begin, but I knew if I didn’t, Sunday wouldn’t look much better. I’ve always read that it’s best to get the least appealing option out of the way first. So keeping to my normal multi-tasking mindset, I threw a load of dirty clothes in the wash and tackled the cat vomit (grateful, yet again, that we tiled all 1,822 square feet during our remodel). After that, I continued checking off one task at a time, continuing with the least desirables while pacing myself with periodic breaks so I wouldn’t be sidetracked by the things I’d rather be doing. Thankfully, I was able to spend a good part of Sunday doing just that.
What are a few of your least favorite things?
